Beirut Water reminds of placing 2026 editions under collection
The Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment reminded its subscribers that it has placed the 2026 edition schedules under collection as of 7/1/2026, calling on all subscribers to pay their due water fees for 2026 and prior years.

The "Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment" reminded its subscribers that it "has placed the 2026 edition schedules under collection as of 7/1/2026, and called on all subscribers to pay their due water fees for 2026 and prior years, by: the specialized collectors, the POS MACHINE electronic payment devices available at the distribution departments."
It indicated in a statement that "due to the current economic circumstances, it has issued the following decisions:
1- Exemption from late fines on subscription fees for 2025 and prior years at a rate of (85%)
2 - Installment payment of overdue fees for previous years before 2026 for a maximum period until December 2028.
3 - Facilitating the process of obtaining new subscriptions for former subscribers who still have outstanding debts, which can be paid in installments for a maximum period until December 2028.
4 - Reducing the establishment fee for new subscriptions for buildings connected to water networks by the following percentages:
-(28%) for metered water subscriptions.
-(15%) for water subscriptions by meter.
5- Reducing the fee for changing subscriber names by (90%).
6- Reducing the fee for renewing temporary subscriptions by (90%).
7 - Installment payment of 2026 fees for subscribers who wish, for up to six installments, detailed as follows:
Installment:
The first is due before the end of July 2026
The second is due before the end of August 2026
The third is due before the end of September 2026
The fourth is due before the end of October 2026
The fifth is due before the end of November 2026
The sixth is due before the end of December 2026
The institution hoped that "subscribers would respond to this announcement and pay the amounts due without any delay, especially arrears, in accordance with Article (24) of the investment system in effect at the institution issued by Decree 14597 dated 14/6/2005."
It considered that "this announcement serves as a personal notification to each subscriber and interrupts the statute of limitations."
