Berri: "Hezbollah" is open to a real ceasefire

Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri considered that "US President Donald Trump is the only one capable of brokering a real ceasefire and compelling Israel to abide by it," as reported by "Russia Today" from the "New York Times."

He stressed that "Hezbollah is open to a real ceasefire," explaining that "the current need lies in achieving a ceasefire, regardless of whether the agreement is separate from Iran or linked to it."

He said: "Tel Aviv wants to negotiate while continuing its bombing operations," affirming that "this costs Lebanon a heavy price."
