Civil Defense Conducts 203 Operations in Past 24 Hours

The General Directorate of Civil Defense reported that its personnel completed 203 missions during the past 24 hours, categorized as follows:

Firefighting operations totaled 95, including 64 grass fires, 1 forest fire, 2 agricultural fires, 3 residential fires, 4 institutional fires, 2 residential fires caused by shelling, 1 vehicle fire due to shelling, 2 various machinery fires, 7 electrical fires, and 9 waste fires.

Rescue missions numbered 3, consisting of 1 boat pullout, 1 rescue from inside an elevator, and 1 animal rescue.

Medical assistance was provided in 44 cases, including 16 emergency situations, 8 traffic accidents, 13 patient transfers, 6 transfers of bodies of martyrs due to shelling, and 1 transfer of wounded individuals caused by shelling.

General services included 4 missions, 47 water transports to displaced persons’ shelters, and 2 operations involving earth removal and road clearing.

Public safety tasks accounted for 8 missions.
