The National Center for Geophysics, under the Lebanese National Council for Scientific Research, reported via its account on the "X" platform that an earthquake of magnitude 2.5 on the Richter scale was recorded at 23:17 local time on Thursday, September 17, 2026, with its epicenter located in the Lala - Western Beqaa area.
