Extinguishing 4 Fires... Civil Defense: Be Cautious!

Lebanese Civil Defense personnel managed to control four forest fires that broke out in areas between Hasra'il and Jdayel in Jbeil district, Kfarhata in Koura district, Bino and Deir Hnine in Akkar district, and Lab'a and Shouleek in Jezzine district.

The personnel worked to contain and extinguish the fires and prevent their spread to forested areas and neighboring properties, and carried out the necessary cooling operations to ensure they do not reignite.

The Directorate General of Civil Defense also called on citizens, in a statement, to "be cautious and refrain from lighting fires in forested areas, and to report any fire immediately by calling the emergency number 125".
