Haidar: To Facilitate Processing Citizens' Transactions

Issued by Minister of Labor Muhammad Haidar, the circular "requested kind citizens and relevant parties, particularly employers, to proactively submit applications for work permits or renewal requests at least one month prior to the expiration date of the residence permits issued by the General Directorate of Security, thereby facilitating the competent authorities' ability to complete necessary procedures and process transactions within the established timelines."

The circular also "notified relevant parties that the Ministry of Labor assumes no responsibility for any fees or additional financial burdens resulting from delays in submitting work permit applications or renewal requests within the timeframe specified in the first paragraph above, and the responsibility for submitting applications within the mentioned timeframe remains with the relevant parties."

The deadline referred to in the first paragraph above is advisory, aimed at enabling relevant parties to complete their transactions in a timely manner, and should in no way be interpreted as an extension of existing legal or regulatory deadlines, nor does it exempt relevant parties from complying with any other time limits or conditions stipulated under applicable laws, regulations, and duly enacted decisions.
