Interior Minister Chairs Security Council Meeting Emphasizing Stability Priority
Interior Minister Ahmed Al-Hajjar led a central security council meeting focusing on enhancing security measures amid ongoing Israeli attacks and upcoming Ashura commemorations.

Ahmed Al-Hajjar, the Minister of Interior and Municipalities, presided over a meeting of the Central Internal Security Council where the country's security situation was examined, particularly in light of ongoing Israeli assaults, alongside discussions on various security and stability-related issues.
The minister opened the session by paying tribute to the souls of the security, military, and civil defense personnel who lost their lives during the war while fulfilling their national duties.
The general security situation was assessed, resulting in decisions to continue strengthening proactive security measures across different regions to help maintain public order and safety.
The attendees also reviewed the necessary security arrangements to be implemented ahead of the Ashura ceremonies, emphasizing full coordination among the relevant agencies.
Field measures carried out by the traffic units of the Internal Security Forces aimed at reducing congestion, especially in Beirut and its entrances, were presented. Minister Al-Hajjar called for ongoing reinforcement of these efforts, increased personnel presence, improved traffic flow, and particular attention to controlling motorcycle violations.
Al-Hajjar stressed that enhancing internal stability remains a top security priority, underscoring the need for continued cooperation and coordination among various security institutions to ensure the protection of citizens.
