Israeli Army Discovers Large Hezbollah Tunnel in Majdal Zoun, South Lebanon
The Israeli military uncovered a substantial underground tunnel with hundreds of weapons and four firing openings aimed at Israel in the village of Majdal Zoun, southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army has found an underground tunnel in the village of Majdal Zoun, located in southern Lebanon, containing hundreds of weapons and four firing openings directed toward Israel.
Avichay Adraee, the army spokesperson, stated on the "Aks" platform that forces from Division 91 are operating in the Majdal Zoun area, approximately 10 kilometers deep inside Lebanese territory. He explained that operational data reveals the village is fortified and hosts numerous terrorist infrastructures, including a large underground tunnel that was uncovered.
During the operations, more than 20 Hezbollah militants were neutralized, including over 10 members from the Radwan Force unit. Additionally, over 50 military infrastructures were destroyed, comprising observation posts and weapons depots.
The forces also discovered a large underground tunnel exceeding 200 meters in length and more than 25 meters in depth. This tunnel contains four firing openings and 12 rooms, which include sleeping quarters and areas used to store explosive devices, anti-tank missiles, and drones.
