Israeli Minister Ben Gvir Calls for Lebanon to Be an Israeli Military Playground
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir urged making Lebanon a battlefield for Israeli forces, rejecting US restrictions on military actions there.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called for Lebanon to become a "playground" for the Israeli army, openly defying American and international demands to halt military escalation in southern Lebanon.
Ben Gvir stated that he does not accept any American-imposed limitations on Israeli military operations in Lebanon. He added, "If Trump tells Netanyahu to leave Lebanon, the answer must be: Mr. President, no."
He described the distinction between Lebanon as a state and Hezbollah as an "artificial approach" that cannot be accepted. He demanded that the entirety of Lebanese territory be targeted directly by Israeli military operations without any exceptions or restrictions.
Ben Gvir further declared, "A thousand Lebanese mothers may cry, but not a single Israeli mother will," firmly rejecting any humanitarian or ethical constraints on the war. He insisted that the absolute priority is protecting Israelis at any cost, even if it comes at the expense of Lebanese civilians.
