Lebanese Ambassador Intensifies Washington Talks to Secure Lebanon's Role in Future Agreements
Lebanese Ambassador Nada Hamadeh Mouawad has increased diplomatic efforts in Washington to ensure Lebanon's official involvement in any agreements affecting its future.

Lebanon's Ambassador to the United States, Nada Hamadeh Mouawad, has intensified her diplomatic activities and political communications in Washington following the announcement of the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran. This effort aligns with the Lebanese state's aim, represented by President Michel Aoun, to guarantee Lebanon's official presence in any discussions, consultations, or agreements concerning its future or impacting its internal affairs.
According to informed sources, the ambassador emphasized in her meetings with American officials the necessity for the Lebanese state to be a principal partner in any process related to Lebanon. She underscored that any approach to Lebanese issues requires direct coordination with President Aoun and respect for Lebanon's sovereignty and the independence of its national decision-making.
The sources added that these endeavors have contributed to strengthening the level of American engagement and communication with President Aoun. This development reflects a conviction within the U.S. administration that any arrangements or understandings involving Lebanon cannot succeed without direct partnership with the Lebanese state and its constitutional institutions.
