Lebanese and Kuwaiti Interior Ministers Discuss Enhancing Security Cooperation
Lebanese Interior Minister Ahmed Al-Hajjar met with Kuwaiti Interior Minister Sheikh Fahd Youssef Saud Al-Sabah to discuss strengthening security collaboration.

During his official visit to Kuwait, Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmed Al-Hajjar held a discussion session with Sheikh Fahd Youssef Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait. The meeting took place in the presence of Major General Raed Abdullah, Director General of Internal Security Forces, Major General Hassan Shaqir, Director General of Public Security, Acting Director General of Personal Status Rodina Marab, and Lebanon's Ambassador to Kuwait Ghadi Al-Khouri.
The session addressed the distinguished fraternal relations between Lebanon and Kuwait and explored ways to enhance security cooperation and coordination to support stability and safety.
Several files and issues of mutual interest were also discussed, with the exchange of viewpoints on these matters.
Minister Al-Hajjar emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and developing mechanisms for security cooperation between the relevant departments of both ministries.
Both parties affirmed their commitment to elevating bilateral cooperation to broader levels, reflecting the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, and serving their shared interests.
Minister Al-Hajjar praised the fraternal support Kuwait provides to Lebanon and stressed the commitment to advancing frameworks for cooperation and joint coordination, particularly in combating drugs, enhancing security collaboration, and exchanging expertise and information to protect both Lebanese and Kuwaiti societies.
