Lebanese Civil Defense Warns Against Swimming Due to High Waves

The Media and Public Relations Department of the Lebanese General Directorate of Civil Defense released the following statement:

The General Directorate of Civil Defense cautions citizens about the dangers of swimming along the Lebanese coast, from Abdeh in the north to Naqoura in the south, due to high waves and strong marine currents. These conditions increase the risk of drowning incidents and endanger lives.

The directorate urges everyone to exercise caution, refrain from swimming until marine conditions improve, and to adhere to public safety guidelines and instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
