Lebanese PM Assigns Officials to Aid Victims of Syrian Bus Accident
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has tasked officials with coordinating medical care for victims of a bus accident involving Lebanese pilgrims in Syria's Daraa region.

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam issued a statement regarding the tragic bus accident involving Lebanese pilgrims in the Daraa area of the Syrian Arab Republic. He noted the resulting casualties and injuries from the incident.
Salam appointed Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Materi to establish necessary communications with the relevant Syrian authorities to monitor the condition of the wounded and injured. He emphasized ensuring the provision of optimal medical treatment and hospitalization for those affected.
Additionally, Salam instructed Mr. Zahi Shaheen, head of the Central Operations Room at the Prime Minister's Office, to oversee the incident's developments on the ground level.
