President Joseph Aoun emphasized Lebanon's stability and security as vital for both the region and Europe during a meeting with Qatari, French, and British ministers.

President Joseph Aoun stressed that stability and security in Lebanon are important not only for the region but also for Europe, stating that stability in the region and Europe cannot be ensured without stability in Lebanon.
Addressing the Qatari, French, and British ministerial delegations, he said their support is extremely important not only from a humanitarian perspective but also in continuing to back the army and security forces, which are the guarantee of security and stability necessary for Lebanon to recover and embark on a path of development.
Aoun noted that the process of economic, financial, administrative, and judicial reforms is a fundamental Lebanese demand before it is a requirement from friendly countries supporting Lebanon. However, he added, the war disrupted the reforms that had been initiated immediately upon the formation of the government.
He further stated that Lebanon does not need aid but rather investments, and that Lebanese expatriates will contribute to the revival of their homeland. He emphasized the need to prepare the necessary groundwork through reforms that ensure this revival and encourage expatriates to return and invest in various sectors within their country.
He concluded by saying that their efforts aim to restore external confidence in Lebanon alongside rebuilding the Lebanese people's trust in their state.
