Salim: Next week will see consecutive government sessions

Chairing a cabinet session at the presidential palace, Prime Minister Najib Salim was joined by ministers: Culture Ghassan Salamé, Defense Michel Moallem, Energy and Water Joue Al-Sadé, Tourism Laura Khazin, Social Affairs Haneen al-Sid, Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Youssef Rjeily, Economy and Trade Amer Boustani, Displaced Persons and Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Kamil Shehadeh, Interior and Municipalities Colonel Ahmad al-Hajjar, Telecommunications Charbel Hajj, Justice Adel Nassar, Youth and Sports Nora Berghian, Education and Higher Education Rimah Karami, Industry Joue Issa al-Khouri, Administrative Development Affairs Fadi Maki, Labor Muhammad Haydar, Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamni, Agriculture Nizar Hanna, Media Boulos Marqous, Environment Tamarah Zain, and Public Health Rakhan Nassar Din.

Also present were the General Director of the Presidency Antoine Chakir and the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Judge Mahmoud Makiyeh.

Salam noted at the start of the session that "next week will witness consecutive sessions for presenting and discussing the budget," stressing that "the issue of Lebanese University professors' availability will be presented at the upcoming cabinet session on Thursday, as previously announced and committed to."
