"The National News Agency" reported hearing the sound of explosions in the skies over Saida, coinciding with Prime Minister Nawaf al-Salim delivering his speech at Beni Brikat barracks.

Reports indicate the explosions resulted from detonations in the Mansouri Camp south of Saida.
