Trump Says Syrian President Al-Shar'a Made Commitments on Hezbollah

President Donald Trump disclosed that Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shar'a provided him with commitments concerning Hezbollah.

When asked if Al-Shar'a had made any pledges related to assistance in dealing with Hezbollah, Trump responded, "Yes, he did."

Speaking aboard his presidential plane while returning from Turkey to Washington, Trump added, "He is doing a great job. He has united Syria. I will not reveal what he told me, but yes, he made commitments. He was great tonight."
