During a JD Vance interview on "The View," Whoopi Goldberg loudly interrupted co-host Ana Navarro, leading to a tense exchange on air.

During a recent interview with JD Vance on "The View," tensions rose when Whoopi Goldberg interrupted co-host Ana Navarro as she attempted to ask another question before a commercial break. The incident occurred while all six co-hosts were present on the show.
As the interview with Vice President JD Vance progressed, Ana Navarro tried to pose an additional question. However, Whoopi Goldberg, frustrated by Navarro’s persistence, tried to signal the upcoming commercial break. Navarro appeared to disregard Goldberg’s cue, prompting Goldberg to raise her voice in exasperation.
The discussion covered politically sensitive topics including ICE raids, deportations, the Jeffrey Epstein files, and the treatment of people of color, particularly Black communities, under the current administration. JD Vance responded to criticism by stating, “I’m telling you, we celebrate Black history, we celebrate all American history in this administration. You guys might be skeptical of this, but I’m telling you it’s true.”
Despite Vance’s remarks, Navarro pressed for further answers, which led Goldberg to express her frustration, saying, “I’ve got to, I have to go to break.” When Navarro continued, Goldberg snapped, “Ana, God, please!” before addressing the camera to announce, “We have more with Vice President JD Vance.” Turning back to Navarro, Goldberg added, “Don’t do that.” Vance responded with an awkward laugh to ease the tension.
Reactions on social media were divided. One user stated, “I loved when Whoopi did that. Anna deserved that. I can’t stand her ignorance on this show nor do I like her on the Abby Phillip show.” Another user disagreed, writing, “Whoopi should not have done that. That was disrespectful on so many levels to Ana and I hope in the break she apologised because you don’t do that to people, and Ana should’ve listened when Whoopi said gotta stop it they’ve gotta go to break.”
