Marseille Striker Aubameyang Punished Over Fire Extinguisher Prank
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been excluded from Marseille's match squad after a fire extinguisher prank targeted a club official.

Marseille have dropped Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from the squad traveling to face Le Havre on Sunday, following an incident at the club's training center, "La Commanderie." The 36-year-old Gabonese striker was at the center of a confrontation that erupted Thursday night, according to a report by French newspaper *L'Equipe*.
The trouble began when a group of around ten Marseille players, frustrated by long nights spent at the training ground, attempted to lighten the mood. Aubameyang led the group through various rooms in an effort to break the tension. However, the situation escalated when a fire extinguisher was used to spray Bob Tahri, a member of Marseille's sports management responsible for enforcing the team's curfew, as well as his bed and personal belongings.
Tahri, angered by the attack on both himself and his property, reported the incident to senior club officials. Marseille's interim president, Alban Joster, and the newly appointed president, Stéphane Richard, met with the team on Friday to verify the facts before deciding on Aubameyang's punishment.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona forward has since apologized to both Tahri and the club's management.
