FIFA has officially concluded the arrangements for the training camps of the 48 national teams competing in the 2026 World Cup, approving the final locations for their training and accommodation centers. This decision finalizes preparations for the largest and most exceptional edition in the tournament's history.

In an official statement, FIFA confirmed the completion of all organizational details related to the teams' camps. This milestone is part of the extensive preparations for hosting the tournament, which will be held for the first time with 48 teams across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The final list of training camp locations included a notable decision regarding Iran’s team, which will base its training camp in Mexico despite playing all three of its group stage matches in the United States. This unusual distribution reflects the wide geographic spread of the 2026 World Cup venues and FIFA’s efforts to provide optimal technical and logistical conditions for the participating teams during the tournament.

The Egyptian national team is set to establish its training camp in Spokane, Washington, ahead of their participation in the 2026 World Cup. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, hosted jointly by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. There is considerable anticipation surrounding Egypt’s squad, led by captain Mohamed Salah.

Egypt’s delegation has chosen to stay in Spokane during the group stage matches, with Gonzaga University designated as the training camp base. Spokane is located approximately 300 miles from Seattle, where Egypt will play its group matches, a distance that translates to about a one-hour flight. This arrangement is intended to offer the team a calm and stable environment away from the bustle of major cities, while maintaining easy access to the official match venues.
