The Public Prosecution in Bahrain has begun interrogating 41 suspects and ordered their pretrial detention while revealing the confidentiality of their bank accounts and freezing their funds, following the dismantling of a primary organization linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The Attorney General and Head of the Terrorism Crimes Prosecution stated in a comment to Bahrain News Agency that the group, formed by members of the dissolved Shura Council, aimed to facilitate Iranian regime interference in Bahrain's internal affairs through various means.

Investigations have uncovered the suspects’ involvement in crimes threatening national security and financial offenses, including collecting funds to support the organization and transferring some of these funds to terrorist groups in Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon. Some suspects also exploited portions of these funds for personal gains such as purchasing real estate, jewelry, and vehicles. The investigations remain ongoing, with a final statement to be issued once they conclude.

The statement indicated that numerous materials promoting the doctrine of the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist (Wilayat al-Faqih) were seized, alongside significant sums of money. The investigations confirmed that the suspects committed multiple offenses compromising the country's security, community safety, and financial integrity.

Further findings revealed that the suspects gathered funds to finance the organization, with some transfers sent to Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon to support terrorist entities there. It was also established that certain suspects benefited personally from the collected funds, using them for private matters including purchasing gold jewelry, real estate, vehicles, and covering their children's educational expenses.

The investigations are still in progress, and the Public Prosecution will release a detailed report on the outcomes once the process is complete.
