On the night of June 18, Iran and the United States signed a memorandum of understanding remotely, which stipulates the end of the military conflict that began on February 28.
This memorandum also outlines the timelines for the United States to lift its naval blockade and for Iran to regain navigation rights through the Strait of Hormuz.
Furthermore, Iran commits to refraining from possessing nuclear weapons, with the nuclear program issue to be resolved through a separate agreement. Both parties will conduct talks within 60 days concerning this matter, with the outcome for Tehran being the lifting of sanctions imposed against it.
