Pakistan and Iran Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments in New York
Pakistan's Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held talks with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi in New York on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly, focusing on regional and international developments.
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on Thursday that Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar discussed regional and international developments with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The ministry added in a statement that the Pakistani minister emphasized to his Iranian counterpart the importance of dialogue, diplomacy, and continued communication in promoting regional peace and stability.
It noted that both sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and agreed to continue close coordination and communication.
