Yemeni Armed Forces Kill 12 Houthi Fighters in Marib; Advances Reported in

Yemeni armed forces thwarted a Houthi offensive on the southern front of Marib Governorate on Saturday, inflicting heavy casualties on the group.

Military sources confirmed that Yemeni troops successfully countered Houthi infiltration attempts in the Al-Faliha sector, forcing militia units to retreat and flee. According to the army, its forces killed 12 Houthi fighters and wounded others during the engagement, while the remainder escaped.

The armed forces stated that their drone strikes hit Houthi troop concentrations and military vehicles at Um Reesh Camp and Ma’la’a Pass—both located south of Marib Governorate—causing substantial human and material losses.

Advances in Al-Jawf Governorate

National Shield Forces announced on their official Facebook account today the downing of a Houthi terrorist militia drone and the capture of several military positions along with quantities of weapons during field operations near Al-Maraaziq in western Al-Jawf Governorate.

The forces specified that fighters from the Second Brigade—part of the Third Division of National Shield Forces—carried out the drone takedown and secured multiple sites while seizing arms, all as part of ongoing military operations in the area.

Operations in Al-Bayda and Taiz

In Al-Bayda Governorate, drones operated by the Southern Giants Brigades struck Houthi military installations and vehicles along the Al-Bayda front. The media center of the Southern Giants Brigades reported that the strikes precisely targeted Houthi barracks, trenches, and military vehicles.

This escalation follows similar drone operations conducted earlier by the Southern Giants Brigades against Houthi vehicles and troop gatherings on the Khaboub front, as well as in Bab al-Mandab and Al-Kadha—both located west of Taiz Governorate.
