"Farmers' Unions": The Farmer Left Alone Facing Monopoly and Losses!
The Federation of Farmers' Unions stated that on the twenty-fifth of May, we do not recall a passing memory, but evoke a historic day when the myth of occupation fell under the feet of the resistance fighters, and pure blood and firm will triumphed over the machine of killing and aggression.

The Federation of Farmers' Unions considered that "on the twenty-fifth of May, we do not recall a passing memory, but rather evoke a historic day when the myth of occupation fell under the feet of the resistance fighters, and pure blood and firm will triumphed over the machine of killing and aggression. It is a day in which the resistance proved that it is the true guardian of the land, sovereignty, and national dignity, and that peoples who believe in their right are not defeated no matter how intense the conspiracies and wars."
The union, in a statement on the occasion of Resistance and Liberation Day, saluted "the martyrs of the resistance who made liberation with their pure blood, and the fighters, wounded, prisoners, and their patient families, who proved that Lebanon is only protected by the equation of strength, deterrence, and steadfastness." It also saluted "our steadfast displaced people who faced aggression and displacement with strength, steadfastness, and faith, and refused to let their will be broken despite the pain, loss, and suffering. These people, who carried their pain and patience with them, and remained loyal to their land and the choice of resistance, today form a true image of a people that cannot be defeated or uprooted from its roots no matter the sacrifices."
It pointed out that "farmers today face a suffocating internal siege that threatens their existence and livelihood, amid a rapid agricultural collapse, and a clear absence of any national vision to save this productive sector that was and still is the first line of defense for food security and economic sovereignty."
It said: "The Lebanese farmer has been left alone facing cost, monopoly, losses, and disasters, while some official bodies continue to manage this file with a mentality of indifference and seasonal promises, contenting themselves with official statements, shows, and agreements that yield nothing but more disappointments, as if the goal is to push the people of the land towards despair, emigration, and abandoning their fields and villages."
It added: "We refuse for the villages that protected the resistance and offered martyrs to become forgotten and deprived areas, and we refuse for the farmer to remain just a number in reports and plans that find no way to implementation. The land that was watered with the blood of martyrs deserves a state that protects it, not incapable institutions that watch the collapse of productive sectors in cold silence."
The union concluded by affirming that "the choice of resistance for farmers is not just a political position, but a creed of steadfastness and dignity, because whoever clings to his land and cultivates it despite shelling, deprivation, and siege, is a real partner in the battle to defend the homeland."
