Lebanese Foreign Minister Orders Embassy in Damascus to Monitor Injured in Daraa Bus Accident
Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry is coordinating with its Damascus embassy following a bus accident involving Lebanese pilgrims near Daraa, resulting in fatalities and injuries.

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants is monitoring a tragic traffic accident involving a bus carrying Lebanese pilgrims on the Damascus-Daraa road in the Syrian Arab Republic. Initial reports indicate that four women died and several passengers were injured.
Foreign Minister Youssef Reggi instructed the Lebanese embassy in Damascus to support the injured passengers and coordinate with the relevant Syrian authorities and hospital administrations to ensure they receive the best possible medical care. He also directed the embassy to complete the necessary procedures to repatriate the victims' bodies to Lebanon as soon as possible.
The ministry affirmed its ongoing efforts in coordination with the embassy and Syrian officials to provide all required assistance and follow-up. It extended its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
