Pretended to Be an Inspector at the Ministry of Economy... Did You Fall Victim?
A Lebanese woman suspected of fraud and impersonation has been identified by security forces, who are now seeking victims in the south and Nabatieh regions.
Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security – Public Relations Section:
"Following up on our previous announcement dated 5-8-2026, concerning the circulation of the photograph of the detained individual:
J. N. (born in 1970, Lebanese)
It has emerged through an investigation conducted by the Sidon Judicial Task Force within the Judicial Police Unit that the suspect was also impersonating a 'Inspector at the Ministry of Economy' in both the South and Nabatieh governorates.
Therefore, based on a referral from the competent judiciary, the General Directorate of Internal Security is issuing her photograph for the second time and requests anyone who has fallen victim to her actions and recognizes her to contact the Sidon Judicial Task Force at the Judicial Police Unit via one of the following numbers: 754308-07 or 729147-07, in preparation for taking the necessary legal measures."
