Fenerbahce presidential candidate Hakan Sadi is reportedly offering Mohamed Salah a €20 million annual salary to join the Turkish club.

The race to secure the signature of Liverpool star and Egypt captain Mohamed Salah is heating up ahead of the summer transfer window. The 33-year-old has already confirmed his departure from Anfield after nine seasons, with his exit expected to be finalized later this month.
Reports from Turkish outlet Fotomac indicate that Fenerbahce, which will elect its new president at an extraordinary general meeting in the first week of June, is intensifying its transfer efforts. Both presidential candidates, Aziz Yildirim and Hakan Sadi, have reportedly initiated talks with agents of global players.
According to the reports, Hakan Sadi—who has stated his ambition to end Galatasaray's dominance and build a squad capable of qualifying for the Champions League—has set his sights on Mohamed Salah. Sadi is said to have contacted the Egyptian star's agent, Ramy Abbas, presenting a deal that includes a net annual salary of €20 million plus bonuses.
Further claims suggest that Sadi, aiming to finalize the Salah transfer before the World Cup, will announce the signing immediately if he wins the election.
Salah is linked with multiple potential destinations, including clubs in the Saudi and American leagues, as well as several European sides. A report from the "Mowaten" outlet noted that Salah is keen to continue competing at the highest European level after his confirmed Liverpool exit at the end of the current season in June 2026. The same report stated that Real Madrid currently leads the race among clubs wishing to sign the player.
Fenerbahce itself has already held negotiations with Abbas to explore the possibility of completing a deal.
Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017 for €42 million. Over his tenure, he made 440 appearances across all competitions, scoring 257 goals and providing 122 assists. He played a key role in the club's trophy haul, which includes two English Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League crown.
