After the Killing of the Field Supervisor, Continuous Attrition of Houthi Militants in Taiz
Yemeni military aircraft targeted Houthi militia gatherings in Al-Rahba area of Jabal Hubashi near Taiz, killing a field supervisor and six aides. The region has become a major attrition front for the group.

Yemeni military aircraft targeted Houthi militia gatherings in the Al-Rahba area of Jabal Hubashi west of Taiz on Thursday, following the area’s transformation into a battlefield for attriting militia elements, where a field supervisor and six of his escorts were killed.
According to military sources speaking to "Erem News," Houthi militias attempted another infiltration into high ground areas of Jabal Hubashi district after failing a similar attempt in the Ghayl Bani Omar area on Tuesday, with Yemeni military aircraft targeting militia concentrations in the district, resulting in several casualties.
As per the sources, this frontline has become a center for attriting the militias, including the death of Houthi field supervisor Ali al-Zaekri, also a member of the local council in Al-Souda district, Amran governorate, along with six fighters from the same district.
The killing of al-Zaekri comes after the deaths of his brother Ahmed, known as "Abu Humeir," his son Yahya, and two of his nephew sons during their participation in combat with the Houthi militia.
In related developments, the sources reported that African migrants were killed when a Houthi attempt to launch a ballistic missile failed, with the missile landing on a farm where they were working in the Bani Qays area of Bani Sarim district, Amran governorate.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) expressed concern over the safety of more than 65,000 registered refugees and asylum seekers inside Yemen, mostly from Somalia and Ethiopia.
