Russia and Indonesia Announce Expansion of Space Cooperation
Russia and Indonesia plan to broaden their collaboration in space exploration and related fields, following recent high-level meetings.

Dmitry Bakanov, head of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, announced that Russia and Indonesia will expand their cooperation in space-related areas.
A delegation from Roscosmos, led by Bakanov, visited Indonesia to discuss prospects for bilateral collaboration in space exploration. In Jakarta, the delegation was received by Sultan Bakhtiar Najmuddin, chairman of Indonesia's Regional Representative Council. Bakanov also held talks with Dr. Arif Satria, head of Indonesia's National Agency for Research and Innovation.
Following the meetings, Bakanov stated, "Our countries are developing a very serious partnership, and space is one of the fields through which we intend to broaden and strengthen this partnership."
The Roscosmos chief emphasized that with the significant expansion in the use of space services on Earth today, every country should have sovereign access rights to space.
Russia's International Space Partnerships
Russia currently collaborates with multiple countries in space exploration, astronaut training, and mission preparation. Among these countries are China, Indonesia, Belarus, Brazil, Zimbabwe, the United Arab Emirates, Argentina, Myanmar, and others.
Additionally, in April, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov announced Russia's readiness to assist Uzbekistan in training and sending its first astronaut into space. Russia will also support Uzbekistan in launching its first national satellite into orbit.
