President Trump announced intentions to order fresh attacks on Iranian energy sites and bridges due to delays in negotiations with Iran.

President Donald Trump declared plans to issue orders for new strikes targeting Iranian energy facilities and bridges, citing delays by Iran in the negotiation process.
In a phone interview with Fox News, Trump described an incident where an Iranian drone penetrated an American Apache helicopter, settling between the pilots. The helicopter was engulfed in flames and intense heat inside the cockpit, but the drone did not explode as intended.
Trump explained that the pilots were flying at a very low altitude and managed within seconds to land the helicopter in the sea. They were rescued approximately two hours later by an unmanned naval vessel in what Trump called a "miracle," marking the first time in U.S. military history that pilots were saved using this method.
He also addressed U.S. strikes carried out the previous night against Iranian radar systems and air defense sites. Trump noted that Iran attempted to rebuild its defensive capabilities during the ceasefire but failed to halt the American attacks and suffered heavy bombardment by fighter jets.
When asked about a possible response to Iranian missile attacks targeting U.S. forces in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, Trump stated that "the Iranians had a chance to sign a deal and stay alive," implying that further strikes against the Iranian regime might occur due to their stalling at the negotiation table.
Trump referred to the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, saying "the Middle East bully is dead," and confirmed he might continue launching additional strikes if Iran remains unwilling to reach a deal.
He clarified that the recent nighttime strikes focused on Iranian radar and air defense systems that Iran tried to reconstruct during the truce. According to Trump, Iran managed to restore only a small portion of its defensive capabilities, with U.S. strikes destroying about 55 percent of what had been rebuilt.
Trump emphasized that these strikes aimed to send a message to the Iranian regime that it is not finished yet, and if Iran refuses to make a deal, he may proceed with further actions.
