US Demands Iran Surrender Nuclear Uranium Stockpile to Reach Agreement
A senior Trump administration official states the US will not finalize any deal with Iran without full delivery of its highly enriched uranium stockpile and cessation of threats to navigation.

A senior official from the Trump administration confirmed that the United States will not finalize any comprehensive agreement with Iran unless Tehran hands over its entire stockpile of highly enriched uranium, which Washington refers to as "nuclear dust."
According to reports from ABC News and Reuters, the official emphasized that this condition is fundamental to ensuring Iran does not approach possessing a nuclear weapon. The Iranian stockpile of enriched uranium is estimated to exceed 900 pounds.
This stance arises amid ongoing negotiations between the two parties within a 60-day timeframe, following a memorandum of understanding signed last month in Islamabad.
Washington also requires Iran to declare its commitment to halting attacks on international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and to guarantee the free movement of commercial vessels.
Should the negotiations fail, American officials indicated that options would extend beyond diplomatic efforts to include economic and military measures aimed at preventing Iran from developing or using nuclear capabilities.
