According to what was reported by the "Transfer News Live" account citing the British newspaper "Mirror," the Italian club announced its intention to sign the Danish striker permanently. The value of this deal is £38 million (equivalent to €44 million).

The activation of the purchase clause came after Napoli secured its qualification to participate in the UEFA Champions League.
