Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 349 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory during the past night.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems shot down 349 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory during the previous night.
According to a statement from the ministry, "During the night, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 349 Ukrainian drones above the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Samara, Saratov, Tula, Smolensk, Ulyanovsk regions, the Krasnodar Territory, Moscow Region, the Republic of Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea."
The Ukrainian armed forces target residential neighborhoods, vital civilian infrastructure, industrial facilities, and energy installations daily in Russian border areas and deeper inside the country, employing drones and missiles.
In response, Russian forces carry out strikes exclusively on Ukrainian military facilities and defense industry enterprises, using precision-guided weapons from air, sea, and land, in addition to drones.
